Special Talk by Professor Yang Yongying
Professor Yang Yongying was invited to attend the Optical Micro/Nano Metrology Technology Forum, where she delivered a keynote speech.
She presented on the Four-Wave Lateral Shearing Interferometry System for Transient Wavefront Measurement, specifically introducing the working principle of phase imaging and the wavefront reconstruction method based on Quadriwave Lateral Shearing Interferometry (QWLSI).
In terms of measurement precision, this system utilizes light interference to achieve extremely high sensitivity to optical path differences. It is capable of detecting nanometer-level — and even sub-nanometer — variations, making it a powerful tool in wave-front metrology.
The physical procedure of quantitative phase measurement based on quadriwave lateral shearing interferometry ensures both stability and accuracy, particularly suitable for fine optical characterization.
